Frances Elizabeth Hall, 87, passed away April 25, 2006, at Glen Valley Care Center.Frances was born Oct. 24, 1918, to Benjamin and Virginia (Kearn) Blake in Baltimore, Md. She married Kenneth James Hall, and they had two children, Kenneth Hall Jr. and Arlene (Hall) Berry. Frances moved to the area to be near her family in 1977. She loved doing crafts, especially making gumdrop trees at Christmas. She volunteered in her granddaughter’s first-grade class and baby-sat her grandchildren while their parents worked. She was a longtime member of the Methodist Church. Frances had a wonderful sense of humor and had beautiful sparkly blue eyes.She is survived by her daughter; grandchildren Mark (Michelle) Berry and Karen Hall; five great-grandchildren, Simone, Taryn, and Rachael Berry, and Shawn and Emily Tonozzi; one great-great-grandchild Caleb Berry; and two sisters, Esther and Louise.She was preceded in death by her husband; son; brother, Ben Blake; and son-in-law John L. Berry.Memorial services will be held for family members later in Baltimore.Farnum-Holt Funeral Home, 405 W. Seventh St. Glenwood Springs, is entrusted with the arrangements.
