Frank Joe Montover
Frank Joe Montover of Silt died Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at his home. He was 93.
He was born Aug. 9, 1909, at Capitol Creek to Joseph and Mary Montover.
He married Faye Piercy on Dec. 27, 1938. They were married for 62 years.
Mr. Montover was a miner and rancher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Montover; and by five sisters and two brothers.
Mr. Montover is survived by a daughter, Frankie Russell of Virginia Beach, Va.; by sons Charlie Montover and Ben Montover of Glenwood Springs; by grandchildren Casie, Justin, Ryan and Chad Montover; by brothers and sisters-in-law Leno and Shirley Montover of Silt, and Paleno and Louise Montover of Clifton; by sisters Vera Diemoz and Alma Murdock of Glenwood Springs; and by many friends.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
