Fred Walter George, 61, passed away Monday, May 16, 2005, at his home in Temecula, Calif., after a long battle with cancer.Fred was born on Aug. 29, 1943, in Rifle, the son of Walter and Eleanora (Michel) George. He attended Rifle High School and Colorado State University.Fred owned heavy equipment and worked in the road and development construction business in Colorado and California.Fred is survived by his wife Kathy; sons Garrett and Hunter, of Temecula; son Charles George and grandsons Colton and Chandler, of Portland, Ore.; daughter Roxanne George, of Corvallis, Ore.; daughter Ericka Ward, of Lacy, Wash.; father Walter George, of Rifle; brother Russell (Neal) George, of Rifle; and many relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his son Jay and his mother Eleanora.Remembrances may be sent to Kathy George at #31 31970 Circle Shamberton, Temecula, CA 92591.
