Free Thanksgiving Day dinners served up
Folks looking for a Thanksgiving meal, and someone to share it with, are invited to free dinners in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale.
In Glenwood Springs, the Eagles Club hosts its annual free Thanksgiving Day dinner today from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Eagles Hall is located at 312 7th St. For details, call 945-5506.
The Glenwood Springs Dairy Kreme, at 112 6th St., offers free dinners from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dinner is sponsored by Mid Valley Baptist Church, Sioux Villa Curios and Glenwood Amoco. The dinner was planned for the homeless or shut-ins, but everyone is welcome.
The Pour House in Carbondale, located at 351 Main St., serves up free dinners from 1 p.m. “until the food runs out,” said owner Skip Bell.
