Rifle’s Colten Fritzlan attended the Wyoming Ultimate Miniature Bull Riding Finals on Sept. 10 and took third for the first two long rounds. He ended up second for the finals and, with a substantial lead, finished with top honors, winning the series.

Fritzlan won in Lander, Wyo., twice in Evanston, Wyo., and in Craig. He also won the World Tour Briggs Madison Invitational in Ogden, Utah. He has qualified for the Northwestern Finals, which will be held in Helena, Mont., Nov. 3-5.

Fritzlan’s summer was a good one. He took 10th overall in team roping and 15th in junior bull riding at the National Little Britches Finals. He also took top honors at the Carbondale Wild West Rodeo, winning the steer riding championship.

Fritzlan will attend the Chris Shivers Miniature Bull Riders World Finals in Ogden Oct. 6-8.
