Front Range in path of storm

DENVER (AP) ” The Front Range is in the path of a fast-moving storm that could drop 8 to 16 inches of snow in the foothills before moving out Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service is warning of heavy snow through the afternoon for much of the Front Range from Fort Collins to Denver to Castle Rock, but also including Georgetown and Fairplay.

That could make for messy morning commutes.

The northeast plains are also expected to get some snow.
