The Aspen Food and Wine Fest is June 18- 20. Among other things, wine of David Hunt at Destiny Vineyard will be featured. Hunt has lost his eyesight over the last 40 years, but has kept on making award-winning wines. The Aspen Music Festival and School’s 55th season begins Wednesday, June 23, with a star-studded week of events focused on classical heavyweight Ludwig van Beethoven. Featuring AMFS music director David Zinman, conducting legend Sir Neville Marriner in his Aspen debut, violin star and Aspen alumnus Cho-Liang Lin and more, the weekend kicks off a summer filled with the top talent in classical music. From June 22 to Aug. 22, the AMFS presents more than 350 events, including orchestral concerts, chamber music, operas, lectures, films, children’s events and master classes.
