Faculty showA Colorado Mountain College Fine Arts faculty show at the Gallery, 9th and Grand in Glenwood Springs, features ceramics, stained glass, paintings, photography, mixed media and print-making.It’s the fourth faculty show presented in the Glenwood Springs Gallery. The exhibit features work from instructors at the Aspen, Rifle, Spring Valley, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs campuses.The show is on display through March 2.”CMC is certainly fortunate to have such an incredibly talented staff. The quality of work in this exhibit, as in our past faculty exhibits, is very impressive,” said Susanna Clark-Smith, CMCGallery manager.The Gallery is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, and there is no admission charge.Artists show around townGlenwood Springs Art Guild members are exhibiting their work around town. The work of Judy Milne is at Glossa Jewelry, Roxanne Morris is at Vita Mart, Ann Lieber is at Flower Mart, Suzanne Hutchins is at the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles office, Ruth Kary is at Glenwood Music and Marilyn Samuelson is at the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association office.Pastels on showExclusively Pastel presents pastel artwork from local artists Ida Burnaman, Staci Dickerson, Marylou Felton, Evelyn Koules, Tish McFee, Judy Milne, Carol Murphy and Carol Rothrock at the Village Smithy restaurant in Carbondale, through Feb. 15. Art classesThe Kahhak Fine Arts & School, 411 Main St., Carbondale, offers art classes emphasizing individual creativity without neglecting the mechanics of painting, for ages 12 and older.
