“feeling 9/11: long exposures, in collage,” a collection of collage works on paper by Donna J. Dowling, created in response to the events of Sept. 11, 2001, opens Friday, March 15, at the Gallery at the Woody Creek Store. An opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. opening day. The 22nd annual Valley Visual Art Show opens Friday, March 8, with a reception from 6-8 p.m., at Kahhak Fine Arts & School, Carbondale. More than 70 artists in a wide range of media are featured in this show. Call 963-1680 for details.

Mark Silvers will offer the Watercolor Workshop, with an emphasis in transparent color, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, April 25-27, at Mountain View Baptist Church, Glenwood Springs.
