The Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities is hosting Alicia Matesanz de las Heras’ painting and sculpture at the CCAH Council Gallery, 645 Main St. The show runs through Jan. 4. Information: 963-1680.The Colorado Mountain College Gallery in Glenwood Springs is hosting “Illuminations,” through Dec. 31. The show highlights the works of the college’s instructors, including: Caroline Metzler, oriental brush painting; William Meriwether, photography; Tracy Martin, graphic design; Wewer Keohane, painting and mixed media; Scot Gerdes, photography; Bobbie Van Meter, Adobe Illustrator; and Nancy Barbour, ceramics. Rainy Day Designs, 16 N. Fourth St. in Carbondale, is showing Nancy Barbour and Elizabeth Robinson’s “Springtime in December” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through December.The Roaring Fork Valley Quilters’ show runs through Jan. 9, at the Aspen Chapel. Glenwood Springs artists participating include: Sandy Boyd, Elizabeth Greene, Kathleen Molitor and Kathy Schattleitner. Information: 925-7184.
