Garfield Clean Energy offers low-interest loans for energy upgrades

Glenwood Springs, Colorado CO

CARBONDALE, Colorado – Winter is here and it’s not too late to get your home ready for the cold days ahead. Garfield Clean Energy is now offering low-interest energy loans for homeowners.

The Garfield Clean Energy Revolving Loan program allows homeowners to take out loans to make energy efficiency improvements that can reduce their energy bills, while making their homes more comfortable.

Loans are available for insulation and air sealing, heating equipment, water heating, solar hot water, and energy-saving windows, doors and insulating blinds.

Loans are also available for rooftop solar photovoltaic done in conjunction with efficiency upgrades.

Financing is individually designed to meet the homeowner’s energy needs.

Loans of $1,000 to $25,000 are offered, with an interest rate and APR subject to each homeowner’s credit score and term.

A Garfield Clean energy coach will work with homeowners or their contractor to make sure the energy efficiency project meets loan eligibility criteria. GCE coaches will also help homeowners receive any available rebates that might be available on top of the loan.
