Garfield County Fair wraps up this weekend

Don’t miss the weekend’s activities at Garfield County’s biggest event of the summer, including:

• At 5:30 p.m. today check out the Senior Peewee Classic, a livestock show for those too young or too old to show competitively in the fair. The CPRA Rodeo starts at 7 p.m., and is $8 for adults and $5 for children.

• Enjoy the Garfield County Fair Parade, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday. Parade route goes from Metro Park to Third Street along Railroad Avenue.



• Country crooner Neal McCoy and southern rockers 38 Special perform on the Garfield County Fairgrounds main stage Saturday night. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Local country band Cowboy Attitude opens the concert. Tickets are $25 general admission, $40 reserved seating, and are available at the fairgrounds only.
