GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado ” It’s time for a little recognition.

The Garfield County Humanitarian Service Awards honors locals for going that extra mile to help others.

All of the nominees will be honored for their specific humanitarian efforts at the 20th annual awards dinner, to be held at 6 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the Hotel Colorado.

Friends and family are encouraged to attend to support their nominee. To reserve your dinner, call Ronda at 384-2357 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Thanks to the generosity of the Garfield County commissioners, the cost of dinners is $20 per plate. All nominees are guests of the committee, all others must pay in advance.

The Humanitarian Dinner is a wonderful evening that will warm your heart and leave you optimistic for the future. Don’t we all need that?
