Garfield County Libraries schedule June 2-8

The Garfield County Libraries are starting their Summer Reading Challenge this week, so be sure to sign up by visiting your local library, having fun in the sun, eating great snacks and winning prizes. 

The Aspen Science Center is visiting Garfield County Libraries this week for STEM exploration, and will be dropping by at different times in the week. 

The Silt library’s Summer Fun Series is beginning this week, starting off with LEGO fun and arts and crafts and will include signing up for the Summer Reading Challenge on Wednesday and a general fun time on Thursday, so be sure to check out your favorite. 



Nature’s Nook in Parachute is starting on Wednesday, where stories will be read outside in a park to experience some fresh air and relate to nature while reading.

The Glenwood Springs library is having a Slimy Saturdays series, where kids can make, trade and play with slime. Materials are on a first come, first serve basis.
