Garfield County Sheriff’s Report

Editor’s note: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Harassment: At 6:51 p.m. on Sept. 23, a deputy investigated a harassment report in the 100 block of Ute Avenue near New Castle.

Driving under the influence, no valid license: At 8:33 p.m. on Sept. 23, deputies contacted a vehicle in the 200 block of Main Street in Carbondale for a traffic violation. Gavino Vega Sisneros, 21, of Carbondale, was cited for driving without a valid license and suspicion of driving under the influence and released to a sober party.



Forgery: At 1:18 p.m. on Sept. 24, a deputy was contacted about a possible fraud/forgery in the 100 mile of County Road 333 in Silt. The case is closed.

Narcotics: At 12:20 a.m. on Sept. 25, deputies conducted a traffic stop on I-70 near Parachute. Ashley Shirin Kolarek, 22, of Fort Collins was arrested for weaving and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. A passenger, Alexander L. Wolf, 42, of Fort Collins, was arrested for possession of amphetamines, marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Both were booked at the county jail.



Warrant arrest: At 2:33 p.m. on Sept. 25, deputies contacted a woman who had an active warrant in the 100 mile of County Road 106 outside of Rifle. Kimberly Ellen Krelovich, 43, of Rifle, was transported to the Garfield County Jail and later released on bond.
