Garfield County Sheriff’s Report
Editor’s note: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Harassment: Officers were called to a residence in the 900 block of Red Mountain Drive at 8:40 p.m. on Nov. 13 for a barking dog. Officers learned that the dog had been barking on previous occasions, and that the dog’s owner had allegedly harassed the reporting party. Glenn Lee Underhill, 42, was cited for harassment and an animal disturbing the peace.
Marijuana: Officers were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Grand Avenue at 1:35 a.m. for a disturbance. A man in the area was claiming people were trying to kill him, but the claim was unfounded, police reported. Matthew Tyler Gering, 23, of Glenwood Springs was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Driving under the influence: Officers stopped a motorist for speeding and weaving along South Grand Avenue at 9:56 p.m. on Nov. 15. Konstantin Igorevic Kuznetsov, 29, of Denver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless driving and booked at the county jail.
