‘DECK THE WALLS’ OPENING RECEPTION
6 p.m. Friday — Presented each holiday season by Carbondale Arts, Deck The Walls is carefully juried and open to artists and crafts people all over the Roaring Fork Valley and the state of Colorado. This year, Deck The Walls opens to the public on Friday, and runs through Dec. 29.

5 p.m. Saturday — The New Castle Lions Club hosts its annual free Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Just bring a side dish/dessert or donations of nonperishable food items for LIFT-UP. There will be live music, and all are welcome.
