Gary Dean White

Gary Dean White, 50, passed away July 11, 2008, in Tulsa, Okla. He was born Sept. 25, 1957, in Sacramento, Calif., to Mary and Gary White. As a child he lived in Taiwan, Turkey and many places in the United States. He graduated from high school in his father’s hometown of Wetumpka, Okla. Gary resided in the Colorado River Valley for 14 years, working as a successful plumbing and heating contractor, and ranch caretaker. He is survived by his mother; her partner Ted Brown; sons Joshua and Benjamin White; sister Donna O’dell; brother David White; grandchildren Mason and Sydney; nieces Amy and Kayleb; nephews Jeremy and Derek; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service is being planned for the fall on his favorite Colorado ranch. Contributions can be made in Gary’s name to The American Cancer Society.
