Gary Dene Wray

Gary Dene Wray of Parachute died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, in Parachute. He was 52.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at the Rifle Funeral Home Chapel, 1400 Access Road in Rifle, with Ronald E. Wray, his brother, officiating.

Mr. Wray was born April 30, 1951, in Rifle to Joy Alice Linin and Harper E. Wray. He was a lifetime resident of Grand Valley and Parachute.



He worked as a heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Wray enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.



He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Wray is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Arta Wray of Hayden; by a nephew, Derek Wray of Denver; by a niece and nephew-in-law, Denise and Frank Danyo of Denver; by aunts Lola Allen of Parachute and Phyllis DeLost of Wheatridge; and by many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Rifle Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1375, Rifle, CO 81650.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
