Gary William Broyles

Gary W. Broyles, aged 60, passed away Saturday Jan. 26, 2013, at his home in Carbondale with his friends and family at his side.

Gary was a man of character to the end. During his life, Gary was a successful businessman, a skilled craftsman, tinker-er, musician and explorer. During the thirty-five years Gary lived here in the valley, he made many wonderful friends; all of which will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor, adventurous spirit, and love for backyard pyrotechnics.

Gary provided everyone with so many stories and memories and we are happy to have been a part of some of them. He was a wonderful husband to Vickie and an amazing father to Ana. Although we miss him dearly, we are comforted that he left us so many great memories to hold on to. Now is a time of reflection and togetherness to honor his memory, and we thank Gary for being such an important part of our lives and wish him the best on his extended road trip.

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at Carbondale Town Hall on Feb. 16 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please contact Victoria Broyles at 963-2906 for more information.
