George Chandler, 83, passed away at home of metastatic prostate cancer. After his discharge from the Navy, his career was as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration in Eagle. George is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie; his three daughters and seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to HomeCare and Hospice of the Valley. Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Chandler home, 3905 Road 241 (East Elk Creek) in New Castle.
Lunch will be served.
