Gerald Redrick Smith
Gerald Redrick Smith of Rifle died Sunday, March 9, 2003, at his home. He was 67.
He was born June 13, 1935, in Brighton to Buella Schmitt and Robert Smith.
Her served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Smith lived in Colorado all his life.
He worked as a cement finisher.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Madeline Smith; and by a brother, Robert Smith Jr.
Mr. Smith is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald Robert and Shirley Smith of Rifle; by daughters and sons-in-law Rose and Jay Gordon of Denver, Penny Smith of Denver, and Mary and Gary Cross of Villa Grove; by sisters and brothers-in-law Nadine and Don Deering of Colorado, Florence Marker of Glenwood Springs, Vera Lou and Ray Norris of Fort Morgan, Jennifer and William Tripple of Fort Collins, and Francis and Brad Stonerock of Michigan; and by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
