Geraldean May Davis
“Jeri” Geraldean May Davis, 72, of Carbondale, passed away July 28, 2007. Geraldean was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Gary, Ind., to Nathanial Dean Anderson and Laura Spears. Jeri was “barn raised” in Gary. She made friends where ever she went with her constant warm smile. She married John Davis Sept. 11, 1954, and they had three children. They moved several times before settling in the Roaring Fork Valley in 1996. Jeri and John were married for 53 years. She was the loving mother of Pam, Jeff and John; grandmother to Claire and Grace Kennedy, Olivia Davis, Sebastian, Christian and Eva Gouin-Davis and Cathal Brannigan.She was loved and will be missed by all the lives she touched with her warm and loving smile.She is survived by her husband; sons; daughter; grandchildren, and her sister, Bonita Hunt. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Farnum Holt Funeral Home, with a celebration of life following the service at 1280 Crystal Springs, County Road 103, in Carbondale.Farnum Holt has been entrusted with the arrangements.
