Get on with Baylor Park logging

Dear Editor,

Re: Baylor Park logging operation plus a minor comment on a letter to your esteemed self, both in the PI of March 1.

Let the Big Beetle Eat and Let the Live Forest Burn! Isn’t it a shame the boll weevil didn’t have the representation of the Aspen Wilderness Workshop, Colorado Wild and Center for Native Ecosystems? The weevil would still be on the square. Oh, and with representation, corn smut could still live in Olathe. What a travesty.

Get real, people. Harvest our natural resource, downed timber, and accept that harvesting some timber (though it may require building a road) will save the rest of the forest in the area from beetles and fire.

My other comment is in regard to the Joe Kaplan attack on Mr. Moolick. Please Mr. Kaplan, display your intellect to offer positive input instead of name calling. Accusing a gentleman of intermarriage, etc., is not a contribution to your dissemination of beliefs.

Thanks for listening.
