Get ready for Day in the Life

Ready, aim, shoot!The day is tomorrow. That’s the day to take pictures. It’s time for the Day in the Life of Garfield County. The section, which will be published and inserted into the Post Independent on Thursday, Sept. 28, gives local photographers the chance to take photos and have them published.Here’s how it works. All photos must be taken tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 9.The goal is to capture as much of the day as possible – from morning to night, sunrise to sunset, midnight to noon, and so on.This is not a contest, it’s just a chance to have some fun with a camera and see your photos in print. With each photo, please include name of photographer, location and time of the photo, who is in the photo and photographer contact information. Photos can be sent via e-mail to or Mail or drop off at 2014 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601. Photos can also be dropped off at The Valley Journal office in Carbondale at 467 Main St. or The Citizen Telegram in Rifle at 132 E. Third St. There’s no limit to the number of photos you can send in.Deadline for submissions is Thursday, Sept. 14. For more information call 945-8515, ext. 517.
