Glenwood High student to write column

Cassidy Willey will be the high school columnist for the Roaring Fork School District Re-1.Willey’s column will appear twice a month, and she will write about issues that are important to high school students.Willey is a senior at Glenwood Springs High School and is involved in many activities, including the Key Club, student council, Impact Club, speech team, Climate Committee and the cross country team.Willey is passionate about dancing and acting, and plans to pursue a career in movies and theater.

“Acting gives me a chance to be someone other than me,” Willey said. “I get to see life through someone else’s eyes.”Willey loves to travel and spent time in South America over the summer.Willey enjoys writing but is most interested in broadcast journalism.
