Glenwood just misses making semifinals

DENVER ” The Demons couldn’t beat the Huskies the first time they played them Saturday morning, but then they were given another chance to beat them. But even on their second chance, they couldn’t find vindication as Battle Mountain knocked Glenwood out of the Class 4A state volleyball tournament in a playoff tie-breaker.

The Demons lost to Battle Mountain this morning but after Cheyenne Mountain lost to Mountain View , it set up a three-team playoff. Glenwood beat Cheyenne Mountain to set up the rematch with Battle Mountain. The e Demons lost the one-game playoff 26-24 and the Huskies advanced to tonight’s semifinals.
