Glenwood Springs Art Guild scholarship winners

The Glenwood Springs Art Guild has announced its scholarship winners for 2006:• First place: Theodore Pulver of Carbondale. He receives the Nancy Piper Memorial Grant-In-Aid scholarship for $2,000. Pulver will attend Seattle Pacific University or Regis University majoring in art.• Second place: Danika Krajcar of Carbondale. She receives the Jan Worden Continuing Education Grant for $1,000 and will attend the University of Northern Colorado.• Third place: Lauren Elshof of New Castle. She receives the Jan Worden Continuing Education Grant for $750 and will attend Harrington College of Design.• Honorable mention: Kelcey Gauthier of Glenwood Springs. She takes the place of one of the other winners, should they not be able to accept their scholarship. Gauthier plans to attend the Rocky Mountain College of Art.The Art Guild is also happy to announce the local Palisade Art Lovers Show winners:• Second place and an honorable mention: Jane Seglem, watercolor• Honorable mention: Esther Moolick, watercolor• Third place Moolick, oil• Honorable mention: Evelyn Koules, pastel• Second place: Gail Crowder, oil• Second place: Carol Murphy, pastel
