Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Driving under the influence, possession: At 1:52 a.m. on Oct. 21, police contacted a vehicle in the 900 block of Grand Avenue for a passenger having an open alcoholic container. Ignacio Ledezma Sandoval, 35, of New Castle, was issued a summons for DWAI, open container in vehicle and possession of marijuana. A passenger, Ivan Armando Robles-Barrios, 26, of Avon, was cited for an open container.

Possession: At 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 21, police contacted the driver of a vehicle for speeding in the 2400 block of South Glen Avenue. The driver, Cody William Wright, 24, of Glenwood Springs, was cited for speeding, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.



Theft: Police were called to a business in the 2500 block of South Glen Avenue at 10:51 a.m. on Oct. 24 regarding the theft of a bird bath valued at $50. Amy Kay Goodwin, 39, of Silt was cited for petty theft.

Theft: Police were called to a business in the 1400 block of Grand Avenue at 4:20 p.m. on Oct. 24 regarding stolen items. June Scarlett, 71, of Glenwood Springs was cited for petty theft.



Driving while impaired: Officers stopped a motorist driving the wrong way in the 900 block of Colorado Avenue at 1:36 a.m. on Oct. 25. Jordan Lee Koop, 22, of Glenwood Springs was cited for driving while ability impaired and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.

Driving under the influence: An officer observed a motorist weaving in the 3200 block of Midland Avenue at 1:48 a.m. on Oct. 27. Deanna Mae Barber, 40, of Glenwood Springs was cited for driving under the influence and failure to drive in a single lane.

Driving while impaired: An officer observed a motorist weaving in the 900 block of Grand Avenue at 2 a.m. on Oct. 27. Rena Cecelya Scott, 33, of New Castle was cited for driving while ability impaired and failure to drive in a single lane.

False imprisonment: Officers observed a disturbance in a parking lot in the 2900 block of South Glen Avenue at 7:50 a.m. on Oct. 27. Mercedes Del Carmen Gonzalez Ruesga, 38, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief valued at $10, false imprisonment and domestic violence and booked at the county jail.

Violation of court order: Police were called about an argument between a man and a woman in the 2500 block of Gilstrap Court at 7:44 p.m. on Oct. 27. Both were intoxicated. Arthur Vieyra, 52, of Littleton was cited for violation of a court protective order.

Driving under the influence: An officer observed a motorist run a red light at 27th and Midland at 12:34 a.m. on Oct. 28. Kimberlee Irmgard Arellano, 29, of Glenwood Springs was cited for driving under the influence and failure to obey a traffic signal.

Driving under the influence: An officer observed a motorist weaving at Eighth and Midland at 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 28. Jacob Ryan Mauldin, 26, of New Castle was cited for driving under the influence and failure to drive in a single lane.

Warrant arrest: Harrison Francis Carr, 22, address unknown, turned himself in to a bail bondsman at 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 on a $2,500 warrant from Pitkin County for an evidence tampering case. He was booked at the county jail.

Driving under the influence: A motorist called police about a careless driver, and officers located the vehicle in the 800 block of Midland Avenue at 10:24 p.m. on Oct. 28. Susan Marie Sewell, 41, of Pueblo, was cited for driving under the influence and careless driving.

Warrant arrest: David Lee Johnson, 51, of Rifle turned himself in at 3:40 p.m. on Oct. 29. He was wanted on a $5,000 warrant for failure to appear in a drug possession case.

Warrant arrest: Police were called about a woman wanted on a warrant, and located Brandy Renee Rice, 23, of Glenwood Springs in the 3000 block of Blake Avenue at 9:24 p.m. on Oct. 29. She was arrested on a Garfield County warrant for a drunk driving case.

Marijuana: Officers stopped a motorist for speeding on I-70 westbound mile 116 at 4:45 a.m. on Oct. 30. Nikkolas Alexander Soto, 19, of Lakewood was found to be in possession of five grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and was cited for possession.

Assault: Police were called to Glenwood Springs High School at 4:06 p.m. on Oct. 31 regarding a man assaulting a teenage boy. Brandom Axel Simental-Aveldano, 19, of Glenwood Springs was cited for assault.

Driving under the influence: Officers stopped a motorist for speeding in the 2000 block of Grand Avenue at 7:04 p.m. on Oct. 31. Jaime Primmer Moler, 36, of Grand Junction was cited for driving under the influence, driving without proof of insurance, driving with a suspended license and speeding 20 mph over the limit.

Theft: Police were called to a hotel in the 100 block of West Sixth Street at 11 p.m. on Oct. 31 regarding a theft. Adrian Hermosillo Gutierres, 21, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of petty theft and booked at the county jail.

Domestic violence: Police were called to a motel in the 100 block of West Sixth Street at 11:49 p.m. on Oct. 31 for a disturbance. Pedro Joaquin Jimenez-Osorio, 21, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of obstruction of telephone services and domestic violence and booked at the county jail. He bonded out, and was arrested at the same address at 8:52 p.m. on Nov. 1 for violation of a restraining order, and again lodged at the county jail.

Driving under the influence: Police stopped a motorist for speeding in the 2000 block of Grand Avenue at 2 a.m. on Nov. 1. Christian Noe Soto Amador, 19, of Glenwood Springs was cited for driving under the influence, speeding and underage possession of alcohol.

Warrant arrest: Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of 23rd Street at 10:25 a.m. on Nov. 1 regarding a man wanted on a warrant. Jeffrey Nevin Cole Kronowit, 25, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on a $10,000 warrant for failure to appear in a violation of court order case and on a $2,000 warrant for failure to comply in an assault case. He was lodged at the county jail.
