Glenwood Springs Police Report
Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Warrant arrest: Huge Cesar Delgado, 19, of Carbondale turned himself in to a bail bondsman at 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 12. He was wanted on a $10,000 Garfield County warrant for marijuana sales.
Dog at large: An officer spotted a dog running loose in the 7200 block of Sunset Ridge Court at 8:45 p.m. The dog was returned to its owner, Isabel Clemente, 41, of Glenwood Springs, along with a citation for animal at large.
Warrant arrest: Police were called to the 100 block of Eighth Street at 2 a.m. on Dec. 13 regarding a person needing shelter. Jordan Lane Gibbs, 21, of Moab, Utah, was found to be wanted on a no-bond warrant from Dawson County, Neb., for assault, and was booked into the county jail.
Menacing: A woman came to the Police Department on Dec. 13 to report a domestic violence incident that occurred the previous evening. The suspect, Ian David White, 30, of Glenwood Springs was called in for an interview and then arrested at 9:51 a.m. on Dec. 13 on suspicion of criminal mischief, felony menacing and misdemeanor assault.
Warrant arrest: Officers stopped a motorist for speeding near mile 116 on I-70 at 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 13. The driver, Saul Martinez, 21, of Carbondale was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license. A passenger, Karina Campos Rosales, 35, of Carbondale was found to be wanted on a no-bond Garfield County warrant for assault. She was arrested and booked at the county jail.
Trespass: Police were called to the Hotel Denver at 10:18 p.m. on Dec. 14 for a trespass report. Matthew Tyler Gering, 23, of Glenwood Springs was arrested and booked at the county jail on suspicion of trespass, possession of an illegal weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant arrest: Officers contacted a man at 3:37 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the 2400 block of South Grand Avenue who was wanted on a warrant. George Muro Jr., 25, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on a $359 warrant from Eagle County for failure to pay in a driving under revocation case.
