Glenwood Springs Police Report

Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Warrant arrest: Darien Jacob McKenna, 18, of Rifle turned himself in to Glenwood Springs police at 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 17. He was wanted on a $5,000 warrant from Garfield County for failure to appear on a marijuana distribution case.

Warrant arrest: Police were called at 3:52 p.m. on Dec. 18 about a man at Valley View Hospital who was wanted on two warrants. Brandon John Deschamps, 21, of Rifle was taken into custody on the warrants. One was a $1,000 warrant for violating a court order and the other was a $1,000 warrant for failure to comply in a harassment case, both issued by Garfield County.

Warrant arrest: William Franklin Draper, 18, of Carbondale turned himself in to police at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 20 on a $50 Glenwood Springs Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in an underage drinking case.
