Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Noise violation: At 9 p.m. on Feb. 15, police were dispatched to a report of loud noise coming from a restaurant/bar in the 3900 block of Midland Avenue. After further investigation, police issued a summons to Taliah Margaret Bakken, 23, of Glenwood Springs, who was in charge of the establishment, for a noise violation.
Driving under the influence: At 1:16 a.m. on Feb. 16, police contacted the driver of a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of Grand Avenue. The driver, Adam Robert Greer, 27, of Lafayette, IN, showed many signs of being intoxicated (alcohol) and was arrested and lodged at the Garfield County Jail on the charges of speeding and suspicion of DWAI.
