Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Trespass: Officers were called to the railroad tracks near Garfield Avenue at 9:20 p.m. on Aug. 8 for a group of young people congregating on the tracks. Officers cited John Nagyvary, 42, Stacy Nagyvary, 44, both of Albuquerque, N.M., and Monique Madison, 44, of Centennial for trespass.

Trespass: Officers contacted two people at the hot pots near the Exit 116 interchange at 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 8. Ashley Erica Paul, 26, and John Laffey, 25, both of Grand Junction were cited for trespass.



Warrant arrest: Officers were called to a parking lot in the 1300 block of Grand Avenue at 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 10 for a man who was unconscious. Officers awoke the man and found he was wanted on a $10,000 Garfield County warrant for failure to appear in an assault case. Douglas Thomas Daury, 29, of Glenwood Springs was arrested and lodged at the county jail.

Disorderly conduct: Officers were called to Ninth and Cooper on a report of an intoxicated woman yelling and cursing at people. Maria Laida Day, 50, of Glenwood Springs was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and lodged at the county jail.



Underage drinking: Officers were called about an intoxicated teen in the 100 block of Eighth Street at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 11. Joshua Allen Boling, 19, was arrested and lodged at the county jail on suspicion of underage drinking.
