Editor’s note: The Glenwood Springs Police Department reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Violation of restraining order: An officer saw a woman walking barefoot across Eighth Street in the 100 block at 2:40 a.m. on Aug. 20. Britny Alexis Sanchez, 22, of Glenwood Springs, was cited for drinking in violation of a court order.

Violation of restraining order: Officers were called to a disturbance at the Antlers Lodge at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 where they found three intoxicated men. One man, Mark Stanton Brown, 50, of Loveland, was under a mandatory court order against drinking, and was arrested for violation of the court order.



Driving under the influence: An officer spotted a motorist blow through a stop sign and fail to signal for a turn in the 300 block of Seventh Street at 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. Jonathan Jacob Russell, 29, of Glendale, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving without proof of insurance, improper signaling and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Driving under the influence: An officer stopped a motorist for careless driving in the 300 block of 13th Street at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 21. Ismael Garcia, 19, address unknown, was cited and released for driving under the influence, driving without proof of insurance, careless driving and underage drinking.



Trespass: Officers contacted two people at the Exit 116 hot pots at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 21. Todd Harris Perkins, 39, of Ivans, Utah, and Vian Charbonneau, 33, of San Francisco, were cited for trespass.

Drinking in public: Officers observed a man drinking in public in the 2200 block of Grand Avenue at noon on Aug. 22. Bruce Wayne Alexander, 58, of Glenwood Springs, was cited for having an open container of alcohol and drinking in public.

Warrant arrest: Paul Russell Huttenhower, 53, of Glenwood Springs, turned himself in on an $800 State Patrol warrant for failure to appear in a driving without proof of insurance case.

Underage drinking: Officers contacted a group of young people at 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 25 in the 1100 block of Grand Avenue who were found to be drinking. Officers cited Briana Lynne O’Kane, 19, Gerrit Richard Rodgers, 19, Joseph Frederick Yost III, 19, Marcus T. Kates, 19, Maxwell Quinn Murphy, 19, Miriam Rose Burden, 20, and Thomas Michael Rodgers, 20, were cited for underage drinking. Thomas Rodgers was also cited for playing a radio too loud and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Driving under the influence: An officer stopped a motorist for failing to yield at Ninth and Blake at 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 25. Spencer Raymond Ice, 23, of Glenwood Springs, was cited for driving under the influence and failure to yield the right of way, and released to a sober person.

Driving under the influence: An officer responded to an accident at Seventh and Colorado at 6 p.m. on Aug. 25. One of the drivers, Krista Inez Halevy, 25, of Glenwood Springs, was cited for driving under the influence, driving without proof of insurance, and following too closely. She was released to a sober person.

Possession of Marijuana: Officers contacted Randal William Mckenzie, 54, of Glenwood Springs, at the north end of the Grand Avenue pedestrian bridge at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 25 and cited him for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
