Gloria M. Gabossi

Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

Gloria, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at the Rifle Veterans Home on Saturday March 5, 2011.

Gloria was born to Clyde and Eva Brock in Denver, Colorado. The family moved to Oak Creek, Colorado where Gloria grew up and met her late husband, Frank Gabossi.

While in Oak Creek, she worked as a skilled nurse and enjoyed helping others.

Gloria and Frank moved to Glenwood Springs and raised their family and she loved her family and homemaking. She dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed baking, quilting, gardening, music, dancing, and family get-togethers especially at Holidays where her cooking skills were looked forward to by all.

All who knew Gloria were treated to her loving, caring nature with a quick sense of humor, beautiful smile, and gentle heart. Gloria had a very deep love for the Lord and life.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and son Frankie. Gloria is survived by her son Roc (Mary) Gabossi and her daughter Kathy (Bernie) Whitman, 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life is planned for 11:00 a.m. March 9th at Farnum Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood Springs. Gloria’s final resting place will be at Oak Creek Cemetery in Colorado at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
