Gordon Cooper Library thanks Rotary Club

Dear Editor,

On behalf of the Gordon Cooper Public Library, I would like to thank the Carbondale Rotary Club for its recent generous gift of $500. The money has been use to purchase eight large tables for the library to use for its popular book sales. These portable, lightweight tables will enable the library to carry out sales without having to borrow and transport tables from other sources as we have done in the past – much easier for our volunteers!

The next book sale is scheduled for June 6, 7, and 8. Everyone is invited to drop off their donations of used books in the marked containers at the library entrance.

We appreciate all the help we receive from the Rotary Club, and we extend a hearty thank-you for its support.
