Gordon Cooper thanks

Dear Editor,

The Friends of the Gordon Cooper Library wish to thank everyone who participated in the recent book sale last month. Thanks to the generosity of the buyers and volunteers, approximately $1,800 was raised, and thousands of books were sold. The money will be used to help the library purchase books, supplies and equipment.

As a way of showing our appreciation, the Friends will hold an informal reception Monday, July 15, at the library. All past volunteers, persons interested in volunteering in the future and members of the Friends of the Library are cordially invited to attend.
