Grand Valley Transit to implement route changes starting July 20
Grand Valley Transit (GVT) will implement route changes on Monday, July 20. Officials brought proposed changes to the public for review on June 3 and held an open house on June 15. GVT has received comments from more than 50 people about the changes. This feedback helped GVT adjust the proposed changes to their present form.
GVT is committed to building and operating the most productive, efficient transit system for the communities it serves. As GVT officials review and develop services, they make necessary changes to routes. Those changes reflect continued budgetary challenges faced by GVT, as well as changes in ridership and community feedback.
Please check ahead to see if GVT route changes will affect your trip. New GVT maps are available on all GVT buses and in the transfer facilities. Please call 970-256-RIDE if you would like a new map mailed to you or a stack of maps mailed to your business.
To assist with trip planning, customers may call 970-256-RIDE (7433) from 5 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or use the GVT Trip Planner online at http://gvt.mesacounty.us/.
