GSE names new principal

New Castle resident Ted Donahue, a seven-year Garfield Re-2 employee, has been named the incoming principal at Glenwood Springs Elementary. He has six years’ combined experience as a classroom teacher and one year as an administrator.

Donahue earned a master’s degree in educational leadership at Adams State College in Alamosa.

“I’m very excited to be able to work with Ted; he has a strong background in classroom and curriculum,” principal Sonya Hemmen said.
