Habitat seeks home buyers

Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley offers the opportunity to buy a simple, decent home.

Anyone who lives between Aspen and Glenwood Springs is eligible. To qualify, a prospective family must show actual need for housing, ability to pay at least $300 monthly and an income of between $15,000 and $30,000 annually.

Families must also show a willingness to participate as a partner with Habitat in the building of Habitat homes. This volunteer time is called “sweat equity” and may consist of manual or nonmanual hours of labor with Habitat.

To apply, come to the Days Inn in Carbondale, Wednesday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m.
