Hang up the car keys and pedal to work today

Today is Bike to Work Day.

Citizens are encouraged to ride their bikes to work and stop at one of several stations for snacks, gifts and prize drawings. Stations will be set up in Glenwood Springs from 7-10 a.m. at Centennial Park; in Basalt from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lions Park; in Aspen from 7-10 a.m. at Fourth and Hopkins, East Hopkins pedestrian bridge, roundabout underpass, and the Rio Grande Skate Park; in New Castle from 7-10 a.m. at Burning Mountain Park; and in Rifle from 7-10 a.m. at Rifle City Hall.
