Harriett Sullivan

Harriett Sullivan, of Glenwood Springs, Colo., died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002, at her home. She was 86.

She was born Sept. 8, 1916, in Valley City, N.D., to Berl and Ruby Pickum Carr. She grew up in Valley City and in Long Beach, Calif., where she graduated from high school.

She married Robert Gates Sullivan on Jan. 2, 1938.

Mrs. Sullivan was a homemaker most of her life. She raised her children in the San Francisco Bay area and then moved with her husband to Florida to enjoy the warm weather. Later in life she made twice-a-year visits to Colorado, and eventually moved to Glenwood Springs.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by brother John Carr.

Mrs. Sullivan is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Nan and Don Seaton, of Bellaire, Fla., Patti and Randy Wagner, of Glenwood Springs, and Kathy Sullivan, of Talkeetna, Alaska; son Jim Sullivan, of Fairbanks, Alaska; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

No services are planned.
