Hats off to Richardson
Dear Editor,
Hats off to Dan Richardson for pushing for amendments to the so-called “Healthy Forests Restoration Act” (HR 1904).
Unfortunately, McInnis just passed the bill without any amendments. It wasn’t a good bill to begin with, but the amendments would have improved it and this would have led to increased fire safety for communities in fire prone areas.
Thanks for trying, Mr. Richardson!
