Healthy Beginnings thanks Community Corrections program

Wanda Berryman

Dear Editor,

The Healthy Beginnings prenatal program would like to thank Guy Meyer and the Garfield County Community Corrections program for a fund-raiser that benefited our organization.

The Community Corrections program donated expertly crafted children’s toys prepared by its clients, which were sold at the Battlement Mesa Crafts Fair on Nov. 23, 2002.

The proceeds from this event will help Healthy Beginnings continue to provide quality, comprehensive prenatal care to the families in Garfield County without insurance.

I would also like to acknowledge Diane Meyer and Linda Green for organizing the event. Their efforts made this fund-raiser successful and are very much appreciated.
