Helen I. Obert
Helen I. Obert, a former resident of Glenwood Springs, died Thursday, March 18, 2004, in Westminster. She was 85.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 22, at Olinger Crown Hill Chapel in Wheat Ridge. Burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, stage area A.
She was born July 21, 1918, in Hazleton, N.D.
Mrs. Obert was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Obert; by a daughter, Loretta Phelps; and by a son, Frank Phelps.
She is survived by a daughter, Gwen Ballard; by sons Ken Phelps, Steve Phelps, Dale Phelps and Mike Phelps; by stepchildren Ralph Jr., Virginia, Robert and Peggy; and by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
