Help appreciated after fire loss

Dear Editor,

Valley residents all know Valley View Hospital and its auxiliary volunteers are very involved with the community. This was again demonstrated by the “Starting Over” shower held for me Aug. 12 because of the fire in which we lost everything, including our home. Even though many auxiliary members did not personally know me, they banded together and blessed me with many thoughtful and unique gifts. The luncheon, hosted by the hospital, was beautifully prepared, and I thank Dee Warwick for all her successful efforts in arranging this affair. Thank you, everyone, for the outpouring of concern and caring you showed me. I hope a good time was had by all.
