Help raise new curtains at GSHS

Dear Editor,

Many thanks to Tamie Meck for her eloquent “Meck My Day” article regarding the project to raise funds for replacing the curtains at the Glenwood Springs High School auditorium. Tamie accurately described the plight of the auditorium. We can replace the curtains and the hardware for $45,000 and that includes the installation!

I will continue to fund-raise locally and search for grants so our students and community have an auditorium of which we can be proud. If you wish more information, call me at 945-3074. Please send your tax-deductible donation to: Defiance Community Players Curtain Fund, USBank – Attn: Renee Mason, 802 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.

This is Fine Arts Week at GSHS. Please stop by for a band or choir concert or to view the variety of artwork displayed in the main gym. You will be impressed by our talented students.
