Hey kids! It’s back-to-school time!
Back to school.
Those three little words have the potential to strike fear and loathing into otherwise well adjusted children. At the same time, they engender excitement and anticipation.
Regional public schools from Basalt to Parachute are gearing up for another year. Starting dates differ for each of the districts.
The first district to head back to class is Garfield County Re-2. This district encompasses public schools in New Castle, Silt and Rifle. They begin classes Tuesday, Aug. 20.
