Dear Editor,
Those who oppose war to remove Saddam Hussein from power should be reminded of when Britain told Hitler in 1939 it was all right to invade Poland as long as he stopped there. Within a short time Hitler had invaded Belgium and France. History has often documented the futility of appeasing tyrants. After being appeased they always gain strength. Saddam is a cancer that can only be treated effectively by removal.
