Hofmann’s work subject of First Friday show

Berard Hofmann will be featured in Main Street Gallery’s First Friday show from 5-8 p.m. tonight in Glenwood Springs.

Hofmann started his art studies in high school and at Trenton Junior College in New Jersey. In 1955 he entered the Franciscan Order at Staten Island, New York, and continued his study of painting and drawing.

He moved to Glenwood Spring in 1994 and has won recognition and numerous awards exhibiting with the Glenwood Springs Art Festival, Ouray Alpine Festival, Garfield County Fair, Palisade Art Lovers Show, Montrose Visual Arts Show and Black Canyon of the Gunnison Art Show. He moved away in 1999, but returned in 2001.

Hofmann will be at Main Street Gallery’s reception tonight.
